In a relatively exclusive, if serendipitous, interview Friday morning on the uptown 5 train, Jimmy McMillan, perhaps better known as the “The rent is too damn high” guy, told me and our adjacent fellow passengers that he intends to join the race for mayor of New York City (again) in 2012. You heard it here first. (Yes, he’s wearing finglerless gloves.)
